Lakeland College is Canada’s only inter-provincial college as it stretches on the border of Alberta and Saskatchewan serving both residents.  The interior design technology program is one of the college’s specialties with students winning national and international design contests!

About your School:
When Lakeland College opened in 1913, there were only 34 students enrolled. Today we have campuses in Lloydminster and Vermilion, Alberta and serve more than 8,000 full-time and part-time students — but Lakeland College is as tight-knit as ever. More than 60 degree, diploma, certificate, apprenticeship, university transfer and online programs are available at Lakeland College.

Programs: Lakeland College’s award winning Interior Design Technology program is offered at the college’s Vermilion campus in eastern Alberta. The program is the only National Kitchen and Bath Association accredited program in Canada and is just one of 42 accredited programs in North America.

What size is the campus? There are about 1000 full time students at the Vermilion campus each year.

What is the employment rate for grads? We do not keep these statistics for individual programs. College wide the employment rate for our grads is 94%

What kind of clubs or extracurricular activities are there? Enviro Club, Outdoor Recreation, Christian Friends, Rodeo Club, Judging Club, Yearbook.

How do you select students for admission? Student admission is determined by a combination of high school marks and completion of a creative assignment.
